Hi, I’m Amanda—wife, mama of four, former classroom teacher turned college instructor, and the heart behind Wonder & Light Learning Co.

I created this space because parenting little ones is Kingdom work wrapped in everyday messes.

There are days when everything feels too loud, too fast, and too much. When the world says more screens, more structure, more perfection, I believe there’s another way. I believe in slow days, muddy hands, questions without quick answers, and the sacred, soul-shaping beauty of childhood.

Wonder & Light was born out of my desire to give my own children more of the good stuff—more time outside, more imagination, more unstructured play, more connection with God’s creation, and more space to be curious without a deadline.

But it’s not just about my family. It’s about yours, too.

This is a space for parents who want to raise their children a little differently. Who are swimming upstream, choosing faith over fear, and pressing into rhythms that feel slower and simpler—on purpose. It’s for the mamas who feel weary, the dads who feel unsure, the families who want to build something beautiful but don’t want to do it alone.

You’ll find encouragement here. Ideas. Honesty. A community of others walking this same road.
